Disaster Unemployment Assistance opens for New Mexicans Affected by Wildfires

Individuals whose employment or self employment was lost or interrupted as a direct result of wildfires can now apply for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA).

New Mexicans can apply for DUA at the listed evacuation shelters, at any Workforce Connection Center, or by calling 1-877-664-6984, 7 am – 4:30 pm Mon – Fri.

The deadline to apply is June 15, 2022

NMDVR Orientations in Espanola
Ongoing – Every 1st & 3rd Weds of every month
(Beginning April 6) Time: 9:00 am

NMDVR helps individuals with documented disabilities find suitable work. The orientation provide an overview of the vocational rehabilitation system, agency policies, and procedures – including those guiding eligibility determination. Drop-ins are welcome.
